Synopsis - Screenwriter Peter John Ross tries to "pitch" his screenplays.

MALL HARD - PJR tries solicit opinions of regular midwestern folk at the local mall to see if they'd be interested in his action teen comedy.

MURDERLAND - Using concept drawings and eerie locales, PJR puts the action story of MURDERLAND into words.

Behind the Scenes

These were officially a part of the PITCHFEST at the Jan 2000 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and ran throughout the festival. The idea was to pretend you had less than 5 minutes in the office of a studio exec to try to sell them on your idea for a movie, your screenplay.

3 screenplay pitches were shot, only two of which have survived the travails. Shot with a Canon Optura DV camcroder in less than 2 hours, and edited on home PC and then shipped off in less than 24 hours to the "Pitchfest" by Show Biz Data.
