K MPEG preview of the Back Office Series
Now Showing
The life of beleaguered office workers forms the narrative thread
of Back Office, a humorous look at cubicle culture. Testy tech support
boys with a lust for Lara Croft, smart-ass job seekers with bad
attitudes, flatulent coworkers, office bathroom etiquette, and the
trials and tribulations of the worker bee are explored with a humor
reminiscent of Clerks--replete with pop culture referencing and
witty asides.
Shot on low-budget digital video, with an entourage of actors culled
from the director's circle of friends, Back Office is the sort of
proletariat complaint that maintains a sense of irony while deconstructing
and mocking the inanity of corporate politics.
